Philosophy

The Employment Times is a weekly publication dedicated to help-wanted advertising, free to the public, and distributed (in print form) in Maine, New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. Our standard ad sizes, free professional ad design and multi-week programs assist employers of all sizes to recruit more efficiently while reducing their "cost of hire."

We are not publishers by trade. We are human resource professionals. Not only do we have many years of management and human resources experience in the corporate world, we have worked in a variety of non-profit and for-profit companies in Maine, Massachusetts and California. This background gives us a unique perspective and a great deal of insight into what it takes to make the human resources function efficient and effective in companies big and small. Our goal is to share that expertise with our readers and advertisers.
